Welcome to TandemOne. Here's what it takes to get your profile live.
You've created your account. Nothing else happens automatically, your profile isn't visible to buyers yet, and no one can send you an RFI until it is. This page walks you through what's left, in order. Once your profile is approved, you'll move into your live TandemOne dashboard, so it's worth finishing this in one pass if you can.
Before you start, gather this
Most of the delay in this process isn't the form, it's tracking down information. Have these on hand before you begin and you'll get through it in one sitting:
- Legal company name, website, headquarters address, year founded
- A contact name, email, and phone for whoever buyers should reach
- Which industries you serve, and roughly how many years in each
- The certifications you hold (you don't need the files yet, just the names)
- A rough employee count, broken out by corporate staff, engineering, production, and QA
- Your last 2 to 3 years of revenue, by range is fine
- Your manufacturing location(s), with size and shift schedule
- A list of your equipment, machine type and how many of each
What to do first
Go to Overview in your dashboard. You'll see six sections and a progress tracker. Work through them in order. Each one takes a few minutes, and your progress saves automatically, so stopping partway through costs you nothing. Your profile doesn't appear in buyer searches until you submit and get approved, so the sooner you finish, the sooner buyers can find you.
What we ask for, and why
Company Profile
Legal name, website, headquarters, founding year, and contacts. This is what every buyer checks first. Add the industries you serve here too, with years of experience in each, since buyers filter by industry before anything else.
Certifications
Add whatever quality and compliance certifications you hold: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ITAR, and others. This step doesn't block the rest of your profile, so if you need to track down a certificate file, mark the certification now and come back to attach it later. Certifications are one of the first things buyers screen on, and ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, and ISO 13485 also streamline your Quality Assessment down the line.
Due Diligence Basics
Policies you have on file, workforce size, sales history, and manufacturing locations. This is what lets a buyer gauge your scale and stability before they ever talk to you.
Capabilities
Every manufacturing process you offer, with years of experience for each. This is the single biggest driver of getting found, buyers search and filter by capability before anything else. Use your best estimate on years of experience if you don't have an exact number, you can refine it later. A shop that lists three capabilities shows up in three searches; a shop that lists fifteen shows up in fifteen.
Capital Equipment
The machines on your shop floor. You don't need exact model numbers, general type and count is enough to back up what you claimed in Capabilities and show buyers your real capacity.
Quality Assessment
How you run quality control. If you added a qualifying certification earlier, most of this is filled in for you.
How verification works
Once you submit, your profile goes to our team for review against what you submitted and your certifications. This is what makes a verified badge mean something to buyers. You'll get an email once you're verified and live in buyer searches, and from there you'll manage your profile from your live dashboard.
How RFIs work
Once you're live, buyers who match your capabilities can send you an RFI, a structured early-stage inquiry, not a cold email. You'll get notified by email and in the platform every time one comes in.
